Every child is unique and we believe that success and growth come from encouragement and praise. Our teachers focus on building every child’s self esteem and confidence through positive feedback and rewards. We nurture their natural strengths. A child see’s the world around them with wonder and awe, we believe in encouraging their natural curiosity.
Ages and Stages
The ages and stages program keeps families involved in their child's development and progress. Questionnaires are sent home throughout the year that parents fill out. Teachers also fill out a similar questionnaire. That helps us focus on what area a child may need help with. It is based on each child to ensure they receive individualized care. If parents have concerns about their child's development we ask them to come to us. If we have a concern we will go to parents so we can come up with and design a plan to help that child.
We also have an open communication policy with our families so they are well informed of their child's day. Parents can check throughout the day to see what their child has done, what they have eaten, when diapers were changed, when they went potty and much more.
Our goal is to provide the best possible care to each child in a safe, structured, learning environment (preschool/pre-k/school age). Older children are either getting ready to enter school; or are already attending school. Ages 4 and up focus on our educational program, as well as being able to be their own person.
Toddlers are introduced to a daily schedule/routine, while focusing on each individual personality and needs of each child. Potty training is also introduced so each child can become more independent. Toddlers love being "big kids". We also follow the educational guidelines that are expected from the State. We learn more with hands on fun :).
Infants are loved and cared for as if they were at home. Infants and Parents determine their schedule. Infants also are sung to, participate in learning activities, and fun art projects. They also work with large and small gross motor activities. Babies are such a precious gift (all children are). It is important you trust the caregivers you leave them with. We have the best caregivers and teachers for them!! That's a promise!!
